Valea Prahovei, RomaniaPelișor Castle is a small palace built on the domain of Peleș Castle, in Sinaia.
The castle was built between 1889 and 1903 by King Carol I and was intended for the future King Ferdinand and Queen Mary. Until Pelisor finished, the young people lived in Fosor. Pelișor has only 99 rooms, compared to Peleș Castle with 160 rooms.
The entire house has been decorated to be a princely residence, and bears the imprint of a powerful personality: Queen Mary. The hall of honor is lined with oak.
